AVAC ASF LIVE

AVAC ASF LIVE vaccine is a freeze-dried, live, attenuated vaccine. The vaccine virus cultured on the DMAC cell line developed by AVAC Viet Nam.,JSC.

The vaccine has been demonstrated to confer protection against African swine fever virus (ASFV) genotype II.

COMPOSITION:

Each dose contains at least 10^3,5 HAD₅₀ of attenuated ASFV strain ASF-G-ΔMGF, along with stabilizers.

INDICATION:

The vaccine induces active immunity against African Swine Fever (ASF) in healthy meat-producing pigs aged 4 weeks or older.

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE: Intramuscular Injection.

DOSAGE AND USAGE:

• Reconstitute a vaccine vial with the accompanying vial of “Avac Diluent”. A single dose, after reconstitution, is 2ml. Do not reconstitute the vaccine with any other diluent.
• For meat-producing pigs: Administer to pigs aged 4 weeks or older.
• About 2- 4 weeks post-vaccination 1 dose of vaccine, pigs have protective immunity and can last for up to 5 months.

PRECAUTION:

• Administer only to healthy pigs.
• Do not administer to sows and boars.
• Do not use different types (strains) of live attenuated African swine fever (ASF) vaccines on the same animal or within the same pig herd.
• Do not administer AVAC ASF LIVE to animals or herds already infected with field ASF virus.
• Use reconstituted vaccine within 3 hours.
• Ensure clean and sterile equipment for vaccine preparation.
• Do not use vials that are cracked, discolored, or expired.

STORAGE: Keep at 2○C - 8○C, away from direct sunlight.

PACKING SIZE: Available in vials with 5, 10, 25, or 50 doses, supplied with corresponding volumes of Avac Diluent (2 mL per dose).

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: 28 days before slaughter.

SHELF-LIFE: 24 months from manufacture date.
