AVAC ASF LIVE

AVAC ASF LIVE is a freeze-dried live attenuated vaccine cultured on the DMAC cell line developed by AVAC Vietnam Joint Stock Company. It has been proven to provide effective protection against African Swine Fever virus (ASFV) genotype II.

COMPOSITION:
Each dose contains a minimum of 10³.⁵ HAD₅₀ of the attenuated ASFV strain ASF-G-MGF-DMAC, along with stabilizers.

INDICATIONS:
The vaccine induces active immunity against African Swine Fever (ASF) in healthy pigs aged 4 weeks or older. Protective immunity develops 2-4 weeks post-vaccination and can lasts for over 5 months

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Intramuscular injection.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
- Vaccine Preparation: Reconstitute the freeze-dried vaccine with the provided Avac Diluent. Each vaccine dose should be mixed with 2 mL of Avac Diluent. Do not mix the vaccine with any other solution.
- For meat-producing pigs: Administer one dose to pigs aged 4 weeks or older.
- Gilts:
+ At a young stage: one dose at 4 weeks of age or older
+ Pre-breeding stage (before the first mating): two doses required:
o    First dose: At least two months before mating.
o    Second dose: Two weeks before mating.
- Breeding sows: Administer a booster dose 1-14 days before each mating cycle.
- Piglets born to vaccinated sows: Administer the first dose at 4 weeks of age or older.
- Breeding boars: First dose at 4 weeks of age or older. Regular booster every 4 months.

PRECAUTIONS:
- Administer only to healthy pigs.
- Do not administer to pregnant sows.
- Use reconstituted vaccine within 2 hours.
- Ensure clean and sterile equipment for vaccine preparation.
- Do not use vials that are cracked, discolored, or expired.

STORAGE:
Store at 2°C - 8°C, away from direct sunlight.

PACKAGING:
Available in vials with 5, 10, 25, or 50 doses, supplied with corresponding volumes of Avac Diluent (2 mL per dose).

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: 28 days before slaughter.

SHELF LIFE: 24 months from the date of manufacture.
